My name is Ashley E. Anglin and I am a Licensed Psychotherapist, who has been working within the mental health field for the past 12 years. I have earned a dual Bachelor's degree from Houston Baptist University in Psychology and Sociology, and a Masters' degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Clearlake. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and train future clinicians in skill, technique and best practices, in order to apply for full licensure and treat clients independently after completing 3,000-hour training designated by the State of Texas Licensing Board.
I have experience working in managed care and in Inpatient, Residential, Women's Shelters, Assisted living/Nursing homes and Outpatient settings. Throughout my career I have created behavioral curriculum for Inpatient Hospitals to implement on various units. Additionally, I have facilitated support groups throughout the Houston area for those who have witnessed: sexual assault and domestic violence, caretaker fatigue, couples in crisis and support groups for families who are battling Alzheimer's disease. I was also was chosen to be a part of a country-wide initiative for Blue Cross Blue Shield/Anthem integrating mental health and physical health to improve treatment outcomes and reduce inpatient hospital readmissions.
I am the proud owner of Bridging the Gap Psychcare , which treats Individuals, Couples and Families struggling with the following : anxiety, depression, end of life issues, family systems issues/mediation, grief and loss, mood disorders, racial trauma, trauma, women's issues. I use a variety of research-based treatment modalities designed to help each client's specific need.
My mission is to aid clients in achieving autonomy and wellness in addition to ending the negative stigma as it relates to mental health.

My name is Dr. Benetta Ernestine and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, National CertifiedCounselor, and National Certified School Counselor in the state of Texas. Additionally, I also possess licensure for Marriage and Family Therapy in the state of Louisiana.
My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Southern University, Master's degree in Counseling from Southern University and a doctorate in Counseling from the University of New Orleans. I received additional training in Family Mediation from Loyola Law School.
In addition, I have been trained more intensely in Trauma for Adolescents and Adults, Crisis Counseling, along with Tele therapy. I use a variety of approaches.However, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy most often. I utilize clinical skills to empower and improve the mental/emotional well being so they can live more productive lives. My specialties and interests are stress/anxiety, parenting, depression, trauma,self-esteem, women issues, family conflicts and couples.
My passion is helping families, individuals, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly rebuild their lives and relationships by overcoming struggles in life. This is done by creating a safe, warm, non-judgmental atmosphere to explore important issues.
